Bespoke passive houses in Catalonia for families who value design, energy efficiency and build quality. Our own Eskimohaus® building system, since 1994.

A Catalan construction group, since 1994. We have built Passivhaus homes across Catalonia, the Balearics and Andorra with our own system, Eskimohaus®, refined project after project. The homes we build use up to 90% less energy than conventional ones. Built to last.
Certified CLT timber, plant-based insulation and carefully sized systems. The carbon footprint drops to about a third of a standard build. We have worked this way since the first project, not as a trend.

A Passivhaus isn't built with health in mind, yet a healthier home is what you get. Filtered ventilation removes 60 to 80% of fine particles and keeps CO₂ below 1,000 ppm, without opening a window. The temperature barely moves all year, the materials give off no VOCs and the neighbour's noise stays outside. Some clients notice it the first week; others take a month.

While Catalonia went dark that April, some homes never noticed. What they have in common.

Insulation, airtightness, heat-recovery ventilation, thermal bridges and openings. What changes when the problem is heat, not cold.

What's included, what's left out and which extras tend to surface midway through the build.

Why CLT timber has been winning ground from traditional structures across European construction.

A home's impact across its lifetime: from extracting the materials to demolition.

What we build today using what nature already provides, without depleting it.
We operate mainly in the Vallès Occidental, Maresme and Garraf, with our own workshop in Castellbell. We work with local architects and know each municipality's planning rules inside out.
