The house was designed to occupy almost all of the available space on the plot, while respecting the setback distances from the street and the neighbours. The result is a triangle-shaped building of almost 79 m², comprising a ground floor, an upper floor and a basement.

The plot enjoys plenty of sun throughout the day. The building has one façade facing north and the other two facing south-east and south-west, and it has been placed at the highest point permitted.

The slope of the terrain is used to create vehicle access from Carrer del Platí, by means of a ramp that leads directly into the basement. In addition, there is pedestrian access to the plot from the corner of Carrer Vallseca and Carrer Platí.

Within the 189 m² of built area, the layout is clear and makes good use of the space, with few circulation areas and well-proportioned rooms. The staircase, located at the centre, organises the floors and creates an easy flow.

This project would not have been possible without the collaboration and expertise of a team of trades and professionals who worked in a coordinated way.

The architects Manel Romero and Roger Llimós of the Rehab-meee studio were responsible for the design and the site management. The company Vanaguer sl handled the heavy construction work on the basement and all the urbanisation and exterior conditioning works.

Papik Group raised the structure and the finishes of the house with its Eskimohaus building system, of very high energy efficiency and with sustainable materials. For everything related to the exterior cladding and the insulation. The metalwork, with all the openings and metal elements, was carried out by CUMA sccl.

The characteristic stone elements, such as the gabion walls, were built by Muroxs. Finally, to integrate the surroundings and add the green touch, the landscaping was handled by Cercanatura.

Thanks to the joint effort of these teams, the project could be realised with a result of great quality.
